Dick Martin passes at age 86.

Even though the show started before I was born, I was a student of political and cultural history. I enjoyed "Laugh-In" in reruns. One of the very few things I shared with my father. I'm sad at his passing, but happy to know he and Dick will be back to cracking wise to those who share their company.

I Miss This Show

I hate reality shows. Not much real about them. I did enjoy this one, though. This was classic. Everyone but the mark knows its fake, but he's the one who keeps screwing up the script! Through it all, he revealed himself to be a pretty nice guy, which of course left them all feeling that much worse for messing with the guy. A truly great idea, which would be difficult to repeat.
